The IUPAC name of Bromoeosine is disodium 2-(2,4,5,7-tetrabromo-3-oxido-6-oxoxanthen-9-yl)benzoate. With the CAS registry number 17372-87-1, it is also named as Acid red 87; Eosine Yellowish.
